Basic Shop Information Setup

Introduction:

Welcome to our quick-start guide on setting up your online shop. This tutorial will walk you through the essential steps of establishing your storefront, from inputting your shop’s basic details to configuring payment and delivery options.

Quick Guide to setting up Basic Information

Once you have created an account and shop, the first page you'll see is the General Shop Setting.

Fill in your basic details accordingly and a description that highlights your business's unique aspects.

Select the relevant business categories in the provided list to classify your shop. (E.g. Health, Food, Pet) 

Specify a unique e-commerce subdomain for your website. Don't worry as you could change it in future. Subdomain should only contain of (a-z alphabet, 1-9 and -). This name will be used in URL for future visitors. (for eg. applebakery.justorder.today)

Add your shop's contact phone number. This number is important to receive notifications from JustOrder.Today Whatsapp notification system.

Upload your business logo by clicking the red button provided.

You may upload your business photo by drag and drop the photo in the area provided. These photos will appear in your business information front page. It's good to upload your promotional photos, shop photos and testimonials for better impression for your visitors.

Next, we'll continue set up your operating hours and delivery options

While setting your shop's operating hours, please make sure that it's open at least one day.

You could set the operating hours into 2 shifts if your business operation hours have 2 session in a day.

Configure preparation and delivery times to streamline operations. You may leave it 0 if unrelated. This feature is convenient for Food & Beverage sellers who need preparation time before delivering the order.

You may enable a cut-off period if you need. This feature helped sellers to schedule orders after the cut-off time to the next available business time.

If your business allows customers to pre-order, you can set pre-order options here.

Next, we continue to set up delivery options. You can enable Self Pick Up for now. Other delivery method will be explained in the next article here.

You may disable customer selection on delivery/ pick up date if you wish to arrange it by yourself

Setup payment options with Cash on Delivery (COD) first. Other payment options will be explained in the next article here.

Set up SST (Sales and Service Tax) and choose the currency for your transactions. Please take note that the currency setting cannot be changed later.

Click Create Shop and congratulations, your basic shop information is completed!
